From Our Founder
Created for the trucking industry, by an industry veteran.
In 2008, at the height of the recession, I was recruited to the trucking industry by a staffing agency. When I met with the company’s CEO, he told me to look around the room and ask myself how all these things got here. His response was simple: “By truck.” That’s where my passion for the industry started. Our entire economy relies on trucking. And the trucking industry relies on quality drivers.
As my career advanced over the years, I saw that although the industry had evolved, the recruitment process hadn’t. And so the idea for KJ Media was born—with a mission to be different from the rest. Here we partner with companies that care about their drivers and illuminate their core values to create the next generation of honest and hardworking drivers.

Jacqueline McManus | CEO & Founder
Jackie began her career in the trucking industry, where she recognized a gap in the driver recruitment process. In 2012, she launched KJ Media, a successful full-service agency that helps trucking businesses streamline and optimize their driver recruitment process through digital. Since then, Jackie has led strategic lead-generation campaigns for national trucking companies and built a team of experts to take the trucking industry into the future.
Jillian Blades | Director of Marketing Operations
Over the past five years, Jillian has helped grow KJ Media from a small agency to an industry name. Her client-centric approach brings a personalized approach to every campaign. As an unseen cornerstone of our economy, Jillian is passionate about combatting the driver shortage by cultivating carrier-driver programs that benefit both parties while bringing the transportation industry to the forefront of non-college career options.
Cliff Jackson | Director of Digital Media
Cliff's career includes founding a digital marketing agency from the ground up. At KJ Media, he leads our clients' Digital Marketing strategy, helping to drive business using paid ads and funnel optimization. When it comes to getting the best drivers in a scarce market, Cliff gets ahead of industry trends to meet your drivers where they are and hopes in the process to bring more young talent into the industry.
Tracy Gardner | Business & Marketing Strategist
In 1965, Tracy's grandfather helped pioneer what would be known as our modern-day truck stops. Having spent the last 30 years in the trucking industry, Tracy brings a unique combination of her successful family business experience and small business ventures, with years of consulting business owners on reaching their full potential. Her passion on the KJ Media team is to help our nation's trucking companies adapt to the evolving digital marketing footprint and show our younger generation the opportunity and value in this industry.
